Currículo Resumido / Short resumeJosé Pedro Basto da Silva graduated in Physics and Chemistry in 2008 and received his Ph.D in 2013 from the University of Minho, Braga, Portugal, with a thesis entitled “Growth and study of layered ferroelectric thin film materials based on stacked structures of (BST) layers”. Between 2014 and 2019, he was a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Materials Physics Institute of the University of Porto (IFIMUP) and Centre of Physics of the University of Minho (CFUM), both in Portugal. Currently, he is a junior researcher at CFUM. His current research interests include understanding the fundamental processes that control the photovoltaic, memory and energy storage performance of lead-free ferroelectric based capacitors. His current research interests includes: 1) growth and structural, optical and electrical characterization of thin films grown by PVD techniques and sol-gel, and 2) understanding the fundamental processes that control the photovoltaic, memory and energy storage performance of lead-free ferroelectric based capacitors.
